Vw golf mk1, logbooked as 1600gl, fitted with 16v engine in 2000 mated to the original 4 speed box, so acceleration is awesome! New mohair hood fitted in 2002 in perfect condition! Car is lowered has smoked rear lights headlight spoiler and big bummper kit fitted i believe! Solid underneath had on a ramp and not a blemish on the floor or sills! I have a folder full of receipts dating back to when the car was new, including receipts for engine conv and hood, also the original service book for the car! I bought the car in march poorly running, fitted a new injection system, rocker cover gasket, ht leads, distributor cap, front brake discs and pads, 2 front wheel bearings, 1 hub and serviced it! The car now runs very sweetly! Due to work commitments lack of storage space and a cashflow crisis she now unfortunately has to go! Mot to december and taxed to end of november! Now the bad bits for mot only things i can see it needing are 1 of the front fogs need replaced and the horn needs wired up!
